  • Located in the center of what the State Economic Development Department deems "The Golden Square," Clinton is smack in the middle of it all. The proximity to the center of the state makes it a destination that's easy to reach, but difficult to leave.     A great place to call home: Homes range through every style and price, from grand old mansions to the cozy vintage bungalows.     Location: Accessible from Routes 51, 54 and 10

    Education: A fine school system. Neighborhood school buildings are within easy walking distance of home. The high school has an impressive facility and sports complex. Exceptional colleges and universities are in nearby Decatur, Bloomington/Normal, Lincoln, Springfield, and Champaign/Urbana.

    Healthcare: Warner Hospital & Health Services is a full service hospital with ample medical staff, assuring residents quick and professional medical care when required.

    History: A rich heritage of community awaits. During the 1840s Abraham Lincoln had a law office in Clinton. You'll find a statue of Abe on Mr. Lincoln's Square. Plus, don't miss the C.H. Moore Homestead and DeWitt County Museum, as well as many other attractions Clinton has to offer.
